By Xitlally Velasco

Welcome back! You already know how this runs, so let’s get straight to it. You probably would have never guessed there are fake “dentists” roaming around TikTok but maybe you expected it.

What’s Trending??

1. Clover Bracelet.

Clover bracelets are dainty accessories offered in various colors. Originally a product of the luxury brand Van Cleef, they start at $2,000.

Due to their high demand and high cost, people have scoured the internet for dupes. You can find Van Cleef replicates on Amazon for as low as $10.

These bracelets add a classy touch to any outfit. They can also be paired with a matching necklace and earrings for an elegant look.

2. Bronzer Stick.

A bronzer stick is a cosmetic product designed to give the skin a sun-kissed, bronzed glow.

You can purchase a bronzer stick from various brands, such as Milk, E.L.F., Wet' n Wild, SHEGLAM, and Essence.

Bronzer sticks on TikTok have skyrocketed with over 62 million views and are part of #skintok which has over 17 billion views.

3. Laptop Screen Extender.

Screen extenders connect to the laptop and expand the visual workspace. They are highly portable and becoming popular among digital nomads.

You can find screen extenders on Amazon starting at $120.

There are currently an estimated 35 million digital nomads worldwide. Screen extenders are highly beneficial for those always on the move.

4. TikTok Veneer Technicians.

Veneers are thin shells, usually made of porcelain, that are bonded to the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance. They're often used to cover up discoloration, chips, or gaps in teeth, providing a natural-looking and durable solution.

According to Dr. Ciapciak, a general dentist at Brede Ciapciak Dental, veneer technicians are not legally licensed in any state in the United States. @Princesskutz on TikTok has received a lot of backlash for illegally running a veneer business, and her account is now private. Dr. Ciapciak also said that these veneer technicians’ practices are considered assault and battery. Their poor techniques are most likely covering up cavities, periodontitis and even oral cancer. It’s highly recommended for individuals to avoid receiving treatment from any business that does not have the proper legal documentation.
