The Nebraska State Fair returns, offering a vibrant showcase of our state’s rich traditions, culinary treats and entertainment. This year’s fair is set to deliver a memorable experience for all, combining classic attractions with new highlights. Join us as we explore the many reasons why the Nebraska State Fair remains a beloved end-of-summer tradition.

What you should know:

The Nebraska State Fair will be held at Fonner Park in Grand Island, Nebraska, between Friday, August 23, and Monday, September 2. The fairgrounds are served by free off-site shuttle service from parking lots at two locations throughout Grand Island, which runs from 10 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. every day and extends on concert days. You can visit the fair from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day until Monday, Sept 2, when they will shut down at 7 p.m.

Admission prices:

  • Adult: $12

  • Kids: $6

  • Senior: $6

  • Children 5 and under: Free

Carnival Wristband prices:

  • Advanced Wristband (Expires 08/24 at 11:59 p.m.): $28

  • Monday - Thursday, all day/all rides: $37

  • Friday - Sunday, all day/all rides: $42

At the NE State Fair, you’ll find livestock shows, equine performances, cheer and dance exhibitions, Fiesta Latina!, live music entertainment and more! With over 100 food and shop vendors, you’re sure to find an item or 10 to purchase.
