Applications are now open for Class 48 of Leadership Omaha, a signature program from the Greater Omaha Chamber, and will close on Monday, May 5. This 10-month experience is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their community ties and grow as impactful leaders. Participants will explore key challenges facing Omaha, gain a deeper understanding of the city's needs, and be inspired to drive positive change.

The program is open to individuals who live or work in the Greater Omaha area. Member tuition is $2,750, and non-member tuition is $3,500, with scholarships available.

To prepare for the application process, one community reference is required. Your direct manager and CEO must support your application, and your sponsoring company or organization must be a member of the Greater Omaha Chamber.

Leadership Omaha’s goals include:

• Communication
  To provide opportunities for communication among emerging and established leaders

• Awareness
  To develop participant awareness of the Greater Omaha community, its problems, challenges and opportunities

• Leadership
  To explore the aspects of leadership and help participants identify and enhance their leadership styles with an emphasis on the community perspective.

• Motivation

  To create an environment in which participants are motivated to develop a sense of community trusteeship and encouraged to assume leadership roles in community affairs

All applicants will be notified of their selection status in mid-June.
