Our warmest congratulations go out to our client, Alejandra Wells, 14, of Omaha, Nebraska, owner of Hiya, on her recent recognition for her business’s positive impact on the community and achievements.
Hiya is a jewelry line that promotes self-care and mental health awareness. The Burke High freshman started her small business in February to help teenagers who suffer from anxiety, depression, and mental health illness, because she saw a need for positive encouragement from daily stress factors, especially post-pandemic.
On Saturday, Hiya participated in Building Her Queendom Vendor Fair at Bellevue University, which featured 20-plus Black small business owners.
Alejandra was also recently interviewed by Elevate Omaha about her personal journey “in helping others as I navigated my own anxiety and depression with the help of counseling, mentorship, faith, and loved ones.”

Hiya is also teaming up with Luli Creative House in a photo campaign for Hiya’s Beads of Courage collection, where buying a bracelet supports gifting one to a teen in need of encouragement and the reminder that they are not alone.
We are proud and thankful to work with clients like Alejandra, who use their platform to help their community and continue to make it a better place.
