Lozafina Receives SBA Women-Owned Small Business Certification

Lozafina Marketing and Public Relations is now officially certified as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) by the Small Business Administration (SBA)!

Why does this WOSB certification matter?

As a Latina entrepreneur and business owner, this certification is more than a title – it’s an opportunity to break barriers, drive change, and contribute to the success of other women and minority-owned businesses, said Josefina Loza, CEO of Lozafina. Women-owned businesses account for nearly 40% of U.S. companies, yet they still receive less than 5% of federal contract dollars, Forbes reported in 2023.

“This designation helps level the playing field, opening doors for collaborations, government contracts, and partnerships that prioritize diversity and innovation,” Loza said.

At Lozafina, we are proud to be part of this movement, Loza added. “Our mission has always been about authentic storytelling, community impact, and helping brands connect with people in a real and meaningful way. This WOSB certification represents a step forward in increasing opportunities for diverse, women-led businesses in marketing, media, and public relations.”

“I’m grateful for the support of my clients, mentors, and community who continue to believe in our mission,” said Josefina Loza, Lozafina’s CEO. “This certification opens new doors for collaboration, partnerships, and growth, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!”

For those who may not know, Lozafina was founded in 2020 on the belief that every brand, business, and organization has a story worth telling. With a deep passion for storytelling, cultural connection, and brand elevation, we specialize in:
