Are you ready to spice up Valentine’s Day with something truly unforgettable? Be among the first to experience Omaha’s first Indian food truck, Tikka Talk, at its soft launch on Feb. 14, 7 p.m. at The Waiting Room.

Tikka Talk is not just another food truck; it’s a celebration of bold flavors and community connection. Helmed by business partners Sahil Sethi and Kanak Sabnekar, this Indian-inspired street food truck is set to redefine Omaha’s traditional Indian food scene with its fresh, modern twist on classic dishes. On the menu: Samosa served with mint and tamarind chutney; Chicken Momo (chicken dumplings); Masala Fries blended with irresistible spices, and a Paneer Tikka Wrap made with naan bread, veggies, and an in-house chutney.

Born from late-night brainstorming sessions and a shared love of food, Sethi said their “vision for Tikka Talk is to create a mobile dining experience that brings people together through the power of unique, vibrant flavors.” Their journey is one of creativity, determination, and the support of their Omaha foodie community.

At this soft launch, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Be the first to sample Tikka Talk’s innovative menu.

  • Meet the creators, Sahil and Kanak, to learn about their passion for food.

  • Enjoy a Valentine’s Day-themed evening at The Waiting Room, and stay to attend the after-party, a ticketed dance event starting at 10 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the show.
