Alexa Gonzalez Munoz
Story by Xitlally Velasco
The Lozafina team is pleased to welcome Alexa Gonzalez Munoz as our spring intern in collaboration with the Barrientos Scholarship Foundation.
Gonzalez Munoz is a University of Nebraska Omaha student and a Susan Thompson Buffet recipient. She majors in Latin American studies with a double major in studio art and a concentration in three-dimensional art. With ancestral roots from Guatemala and Nicaragua, she enjoys spending time with her large family, including an older twin and two dogs.
Known for her creativity, curiosity, and dedication, Alexa is exploring her career path through various artistic pursuits, including drawing, painting, sculpting, potting, and crocheting, hoping to share her art and eventually teach in her community. When she’s not immersed in her studies or art, Alexa enjoys outdoor activities, discovering new places, and indulging in her love for music and romantic comedies.
“I was drawn to the internship because I felt it was one that promises creative freedom through writing and digital art while also challenging me to step out of my comfort zone,” said Gonzalez Munoz.
The Barrientos Scholarship Foundation, a Lozafina client, recruited Gonzalez Munoz to assist them with promotional materials and relevant content. She will assist in projects at Lozafina’s headquarters to further expand her writing and creative skills.
Lozafina Marketing and Public Relations takes great pride in nurturing emerging leaders and serving as a gateway to future opportunities. We have no doubt that Gonzalez Munoz will greatly contribute to our ongoing success and creative vision.
