Xitlally Velasco named Lozafina Digital Content Curator

Xitlally Velasco was named digital content curator of the Lozafina community blog.

On Tuesday, Lozafina Marketing and Public Relations named Omaha-native Xitlally Velasco as the digital content curator of the website’s community blog.

Velasco is a University of Nebraska at Omaha journalism student with a concentration in public relations and advertising, and a minor in Psychology.

Velasco is a first-generation college student who has roots in Oaxaca, Mexico. The 2019 Bryan High graduate is a UNO Goodrich Scholar recipient who volunteers at the Heartland Hope Mission.

Her work interest is copywriting, editing, marketing, social media management, and event planning. She’s expected to earn her bachelor’s degree in the spring of 2024 and hopes to remain in Omaha in the public relations field eventually working internationally.

“I’m excited to work with Lozafina because I know I’ll learn so much about the industry, create new connections, and strengthen my writing and communications skills,” she said.
