Dozens of community partners have partnered to bring back Christmas in the Village for the 14th year.

The event kicks off at noon with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus on a horse-drawn carriage as well as other cartoon and pop culture characters.

There will be outdoor activities for children and adults, including a live nativity scene, free carriage rides, free toys, gifts and candy, face painting, balloons, interactive games, and more.

Live music will be provided by local recording artists, and over 30 different local vendors will be showcasing their unique wares at the Holiday Boutique. Plus, businesses in the district will offer special discounts and holiday items for sale.  Food trucks and local restaurants will have food for purchase.

Major sponsors for Christmas in the Village at 24th and Lake include American National Bank, Mutual of Omaha, Douglas County Visitors Improvement Fund, and Nebraska Arts Council.  Media sponsors include KETV and Revive! Omaha Magazine.
