The Professional Photographers of Nebraska association are throwing their annual conference at The Magnolia Hotel.
This film-noir themed event will kick off with the first ever Pre-Con event! Join other phorographers for tours of three local art galleries and explore the ways that art influences photography.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, attendees can attend a keynote by PPA President Mark Campbell on “Where are you suppose to be?” followed by two educational session on photo restoration and portrait lighting. The Dinner speaker will be Bill Ganzel, author of the Dust Bowl Descent.
Sunday starts with a keynote from Shannon Squires on the integration of science and art in photography. There will be the President’s Award Banquet at 6 p.m.
Ending the event will be a session presented by Dan McClanahan on shooting with purpose.
