Starting Friday, August 30, the Annul La Festa Italiana returns to The Palazzo for a celebration of Italian heritage in the form of food, music, dancing under the starts.

Live music will start at 8 pm each night, the schedule is as follows: Friday, August 30, 70’s Band; Saturday, August 31, Bozak & Morrissey; and on Sunday, September 1, Taxi Driver.

Children’s entertainment includes inflatables, ballon sculptures and face paiting. There will also be Italian cooking demonstrations.

Food will be provided by Pasta Amore, and prices will vary ($1-$9). Options include everything from chicken sicillian, shrimp scampi, stuffed peppers, cannoli’s and sausage & peppers. Tickets are $6 advace at Hy-Vee Stores and Rockbrook Camera, or $7.50 at the door. There will be a fee shuttle from Kelley Park at 126th and Fort streets where attendees are asked to park.
