The Durham Museum will be hosting a new exhibit by Tactile Images in collaboration with the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Getty Images, the National Federation of the Blind, and the Alliance for Inclusive Design and Experiences to bring Abraham Lincoln: President, Emancipator, and Corporate Pitchman to Omaha.
The exhibit is immersive and multi-sensory, merging contemporary cultural analysis with history to create a critical image of how Lincoln’s image has been appropriated and commercialized over time.
