Head down to the Joslyn Art Museum to learn about one of the oldest modes of transportation: trains. Start your tour of “All Aboard: The Railroad in American Art, 1840-1955” at the welcome table in Hawks Pavilion where you can pick up a map, and learn about upcoming programming.
The Omaha Public Library will be hosting a storytime at 11 a.m. in the community room, followed by a performance by Omaha-based vocalist and musical theater performer Evelyn Hill.
You can also check out model train and toy displays from Nebraska-Iowa Railroaders while learning more about their programming, including the upcoming 2025 Train & Toy Show at Oak View Mall.
In Studio 1 guests will be able to create a work of art inspired by work in the collection, and there will also be an art cart station and a drop-in sketching space.
