Join fellow readers at Omaha Public Library’s Milton R. Abrahams branch and hear from author Alena Bruzas as she reads her newest novel To the Bone. After the reading, Alena will answer audience questions.

Alena was born in Seattle, Washington but currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her debut novel, Ever Since, was published in 2023. To the Bone is her second novel, and follows the journey of a young emigrant, Ellis, who arrives in the U.S. as an indentured servant.
