What do novelist, and Dundee Books owner, Ted Wheeler, and artist Jeffrey Koterbra have in common? Their work is both inspired by historical figures from before World War II.

Wheller will read an except from his new novel, The War Begins in Paris, which follows several American foreign correspondents (some real, some fiction) as they confront the reality of a fascist Europe. This is Wheeler’s second book.

In contrast, Kotebra will discuss how historical figures have inspired him, and his subject matter.
