If all you know about Julia Child is her name, this is your chance to learn so much more when two local nonprofits team up.
Film Streams, in collaboration with the Durham Museum, will be screening JULIA. The film chronicles Child’s 12-year struggle to create and publish “Mastering the Art of French Cooking,” which has sold 2.5 million copies to date. It includes never-been-seen archival footage, personal photos, first-person narratives, and food cinematography.
The Durham Museum will be showcasing “Julia Child: A Recipe For Life,” which explores Child’s personal and professional evolution. The exhibit will be open until February 11.
