Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands to learn more about its MentorU program.
The MentorU program is a technology-enhanced mentoring program for high school students. Mentors only need to commit to spending 2.5 hours a month for meeting with their mentors. Mentors will help mentees gain confidence, and determine what success is.
The MentorU program currently serves students at Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson High Schools in Council Bluffs, as well as Ralston, Millard North and Horizon High Schools in Omaha. Currently over 60 students are looking for mentors, and participants can start the matching process at the event.
