PresFest

  • Joslyn Castle & Gardens 3902 Davenport Street Omaha, NE, 68131 United States (map)

Back after a successful first year, PresFest returns to the Joslyn Castle & Gardens. Briefly, there will be activities, food trucks, demonstrations, entertainment, walking and bus tours of the neighborhood and more than a few businesses, nonprofits and neighborhood associations ready to greet you.

From the event page:

PRESERVE: Businesses, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations are eager to meet and talk with you about the services they can provide and how they support the preservation of the Omaha area. Come support small businesses and local artists as part of the day’s festivities. Also, become a member of Preserve Omaha at the fair and receive free swag!

LEARN: Watch our demonstrations to see preservation in action and learn how to preserve your own historic home. Have questions about your own restoration project? We're here to help! Don’t forget to snag a seat on the neighborhood bus tour hosted by the Durham Museum and/or take a walking tour to learn more about the historic Joslyn Castle neighborhood and the surrounding area!

EAT AND DRINK: Bring your appetite for our delicious food trucks and drinks! Pulled BBQ, Maria Bonita, Hudson's Mini Donut Co., Abra Kebabra, and eCreamery will be at the fair. Did we mention the beer garden with beer from our sponsor Infusion Brewing Co.?!

ENTERTAINMENT: There will be music, games, and more for the whole family to enjoy. You won't want to miss performances by Hector Anchando Band, Polka Police, and the Jitterbugs!

PARKING: Free parking will be available at St. Cecilia Cathedral and Duchesne. Catch a ride from Ollie the Trolley at either of these stops to the fair!

This family-friendly event is a celebration of the community and honoring the Omaha metro’s rich history and preservation.
