Omaha socialites, foodies, and Husker legend Johnny Rodgers attended Omaha Food Lovers VIP Launch
On Wednesday, some of Omaha’s biggest socialites attended the exclusive Omaha Food Lovers VIP Launch Party at the Omaha Sports and Games Company in Elkhorn. The invite-only event gave the city’s influencers a private preview of the newly launched Omaha Food Lovers Black Card Membership. This exclusive membership offers secret menus, VIP parties, and discounts at Omaha’s top dining spots.
Starting November 29, the Black Card will be available to the general public, with a portion of each sale benefiting the Food Bank for the Heartland to help fight hunger.
Attendees spent the night indulging in savory cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while networking with some of Omaha’s prominent culinary experts. The event highlighted the exciting future of Omaha Food Lovers and its unwavering support for local restaurants.
The local foodie community has been abuzz since hearing about the launch of the Black Card and the new leadership within the group. The Omaha Food Lovers is now being run by the team at Extra Mile, a small, passionate Omaha Business with a 12-person team. OFL’s founder, Stacy Winters, stepped away as an admin at the end of May and is no longer involved in group operations or business.
Earlier this week this statement was released on the OFL Facebook page: “Stacy has always been passionate for the Omaha scene and believes strongly in supporting our local amazing restaurants, a mission that our team will continue. We’ll always consider Stacy ‘our founder’, and we love to see his continued posts in the group, now as a member instead of an admin.”
While the Omaha Food Lovers Facebook group, which has more than 112,000 followers, will always remain free to its members, the newly launched Black Card Membership is designed to offer exclusive perks for those who want a deeper, more immersive experience with Omaha’s vibrant dining scene. The Black Card Membership provides unique benefits like access to secret menus, VIP parties, and discounts at top Omaha dining spots, which go above and beyond the group’s regular free content and community posts.
This membership is an optional enhancement for those interested in experiencing even more of what Omaha’s restaurant scene has to offer, while supporting a meaningful cause, the Food Bank for the Heartland.
