Celebrating the Success of Our Lozafina Graduate Promise Lloyd

Today, the Lozafina team proudly celebrates one of our own, Promise Lloyd, who graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha on Dec. 20 at Baxter Arena. Promise’s journey with Lozafina began a year ago through our sports communication internship, co-created with our valued client, EPIC for Girls—a program dedicated to inspiring girls of color to explore careers in sports beyond the field and court.

Promise has been an exceptional communications specialist at Lozafina, bringing unmatched passion, talent, and determination to every project. With a bachelor’s degree in journalism, focusing on public relations and advertising, her expertise has been a vital asset to our team. As the chapter president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a program specialist at the Boys & Girls Club, Promise has consistently introduced fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. Her interests in public relations, media management, and advertising align with her goal of working with athletes to enhance their media presence.

Promise, as you embark on this exciting new chapter, we are honored to have been part of your journey. Your contributions have left an indelible mark on our team, and we are confident you will continue to achieve greatness in everything you pursue.

“I look up to Promise because she is such a hard worker. Promise is so dedicated when it comes to achieving her dreams!” said Yaretzy Soto, a former Lozafina summer intern. “Her laugh is contagious, and she lights up the mood as soon as she would come into the office. I do not regret meeting her. I hope she achieves everything she sets her mind to!”

“Promise is an amazing person to be around; she’s funny, kind, and caring for the people around her. When I started hanging out with Promise more, I got to see that Promise and I acted the same way and found out that we are both Taurus,” said Ed Luqueno, a former Lozafina summer intern. “I can say that we are basically bestie twins. I wish Promise the best of luck and to away continue what she is doing!
