Lozafina Marketing and Public Relations proudly welcomes Omaha Bridges, a non-profit organization dedicated to defeating poverty, to its growing clientele.
In the Omaha–Council Bluffs metro, Omaha Bridges Out of Poverty (OmaBOP) is making a real difference in the lives of families facing financial hardship. The nonprofit equips under-resourced individuals with the tools, coaching, and community support they need to break the cycle of poverty for good.
OmaBOP’s Getting Ahead program is an empowering, 8 to 10-week course that helps participants better understand poverty, build financial literacy, and set meaningful goals. Offered in both English and Spanish, the classes are free, accessible, and backed by a 94% graduation rate. The results? Graduates often see an annual income boost of $18,000 and a 50% reduction in their debt-to-income ratio.
Through certified life skills coaching and community workshops, OmaBOP continues to walk alongside participants long after graduation. Their goal is to cut poverty in half over the next decade, and they’re well on their way, with over 1,800 graduates and partnerships with more than 100 local agencies.
To get involved, you can volunteer, donate, enroll in a class, or partner with OmaBOP to host workshops in your own organization.
Lozafina looks forward to working closely with Omaha Bridges on its marketing and brand awareness needs. Stay tuned for our upcoming projects!
