Leslie Diaz Shares Her Life’s Most Cherished Moments

MY FIVE: A series where we ask individuals to share their five favorite things

By Xitlally Velasco

Meet Leslie Diaz, this week’s My Five feature!

1. Family

My family means the world to me. They've taught me everything I know and are always there to support me when I need it most. I know I can always count on them.

2. My Cousins

I can always count on my cousins, no matter the situation. Whether I need someone to listen or just a companion for a quick trip to the store, they’re always there. They're more than family—they're like sisters to me.

3. School

While school might not be essential for everyone, it’s been my key to success. It has allowed me to build meaningful connections and expand my network. Continuing my education is not only a blessing but also crucial for shaping my future.

4. Capturing Memories

I love taking pictures because they capture the memories I cherish, allowing me to look back and reminisce. Photography holds so much meaning for me, especially when I can revisit moments with loved ones who have passed. It's a way of preserving the experiences and people that matter most.

5. My Boyfriend

My boyfriend has taught me so much about myself and holds a special place in my life. His support and influence have been invaluable, helping me through every choice I’ve made. He’s shown me the importance of not only loving others but also learning to love myself.
