Lozafina Honored with HRAM IDEAL Award for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion
On Wednesday, Lozafina was recognized and honored with the HRAM IDEAL Award at the Greater Omaha Chamber’s CODE Conference at the CHI Health Center in Downtown Omaha.
The IDEAL Award, presented by the Human Resource Association of the Midlands (HMRAM), recognizes Omaha-based organizations for their DEI initiatives and accomplishments in embracing and promoting inclusion, diversity, equity, advocacy and leadership (IDEAL) in business strategies, policies, decisions and practices.
The HRAM IDEAL Award evolved from the HRAM Mosaic Award, previously presented annually to honor organizations making significant contributions to workplace diversity. The Mosaic Award was a key feature of HRAM's Annual Diversity Program. In 2019, the HRAM Diversity and Inclusion Committee sought to broaden the recognition of Omaha companies and organizations for their DEI initiatives, focusing on research, implementation and measurable success. With the committee’s dedication, the Mosaic Award transformed into the IDEAL Award.
The IDEAL Award’s application process was designed to recognize organizations of all sizes and acknowledge achievements across various stages of their DEI efforts.
There are three levels to the awards and this year’s recipients:
Level 1: THRIVE (Leading and Resources)
Top-level award for organizations who have established themselves as a leader and resource by implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion policy in their workplace.
Level 2: EMERGE (Implementation)
Organizations who display an ongoing commitment to implementing existing DEI policy.
Level 3: CULTIVATE (Recognize)
Organizations who are excelling at efforts to recognize the need for diversity, equity and inclusion.
Lozafina was awarded THRIVE Level 1 for the small/medium business category.
