Many have been affected by Alzheimer's disease, and research is ongoing to help understand, treat, and prevent the disease. The 2023 annual Council Bluffs Walk to End Alzheimer’s is one way the community can pitch in. The event will take place on Saturday, September 23 at 9 am.

Proceeds from this event, hosted by the Alzheimer's Association, will go towards Dementia care and support efforts, research for treatment and ultimately a cure, as well as raising awareness.

The 2023 Council Bluffs Walk to End Alzheimer’s has already raised over $79,000, exceeding its original goal of $51,000, through the efforts of 497 registered participants.
