Find your family history in city directories

Did you know the library is home to Omaha’s oldest records? You can use these records to learn more about your family’s history in the area if you know where to start.

That’s where librarian Marth Grenzeback comes in. During a virtual workshop on April 17, Grenzeback will explain the varied kinds of information that city directories contain, how to use them, and where to access them.

Grenzeback will also go over the Canadian research problem that was solved with the help of the city directories.

Registration is required and can be found here.
