Indigenous Foraging with the Moon Cycle

Looking for a more holistic, or more natural, way to boost your health? The Native American peoples of the Great Plains are experts at utilizing native plants in their diet, and so can you. During this workshop., learn about the relationship between Indigenous practices for plant foraging and the cycles of the moon.

This workshop will be led by Bluebird Cultural Initiative Founder and Sicangu Lakota tribe member Steve Tamayo. Tamayo will also discuss how colonization impacted the plants traditionally used, and what plants remain vital still today.

This workshop is included in general admission to the Kiewit Luminarium. Ticket reservations can be made here.
