Apps to Stay on Track with Meetings, Events and Everything in Between

By: Xitlally Velasco

Do you ever wish a day had more than 24 hours? These days, your time is extremely valuable and limited. It’s always crunch time o’clock, and unfortunately, we can’t be in multiple places at once. We all have deadlines to reach, people to talk to, and places to be.

It seems like we have to wake up earlier and earlier every day because we have so much to complete. On top of that, you’re expected to remember to eat, work out, and have a hobby.

Staying organized can be a challenge; however, thanks to the advancements in technology, various apps have emerged to assist with time management and organizational skills.

If it’s not written down in your calendar or scheduler, it’s not important.

So, without further adieu, here are five ways to keep track of pretty much everything going on in your life…

1. Hire Assistance.

There’s nothing wrong with asking for help; we all need it sometimes. A personal assistant will help take a heavy weight off you. You won’t forget important meetings, deadlines, and events. You can strictly focus on your tasks without the constant worry if you forgot something.

Not sure if this app’s name is wordplay because “todo” in Spanish means everything. So essentially, this app will remind you about everything. Todoist helps you organize your to-do lists, set deadlines, and prioritize tasks for efficient completion. Todoist can be downloaded on different devices, so you’ll always be in touch.

3. Forest.

Forest utilizes gamification to enhance focus and minimize distractions. Yup, it’s a game, in a way. Whenever you want to stay focused, open the app to start planting a tree. If you leave before your tree finishes growing, your tree will die. Attempt to build a forest! The best part is that Forest partners with Trees for the Future, a real tree-planting non-profit organization.

Similar to Forest, Habitica is a game that rewards you for completing your tasks. With this app, you get to build your own little world. Checking stuff off your list will grant you gold and other rewards to buy equipment. The more you complete, the more levels you’ll surpass with your avatar.

RescueTime provides valuable insights into your digital habits by tracking the time spent on different apps and websites. It empowers you to identify time-wasting activities and make informed adjustments. This app will surely call you out and let you know that you’ve been on Facebook 15 times since you started your workday.

If you didn’t complete all of your tasks today, don’t be so hard on yourself. The world will still be spinning tomorrow.

You’ve got this!
