Omahan Jared Hall: Redefining Fashion with 3AM Luxury Handbags & Leather Accessories
MY FIVE: A series where we ask Omahans to share their five favorite things
By Josefina Loza
Omaha native Jared Hall has taken the fashion world by storm with his fashion brand, 3AM Luxury Handbags & Leather Accessories. With a recent appearance at the prestigious 76th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, and an impressive showcase at Tiffany's Fashion Week in Monaco, Hall is making waves with his unique creations and empowering vision.
We caught up with Hall, 33, to delve into the meaning behind 3AM and explore Hall's journey as a designer, innovator, and creator. His brand has been featured in a variety of internationally prominent publications and catwalks, including Harper’s Bazzar, Vogue, Dubai Fashion Week, and more. But our biggest ask at Lozafina was wanting to know his “My Five,” favorite things he totally couldn’t live without — and here’s what he had to say…
1. Sun Glasses.
“They’re actually a vintage piece made in 1990 by American designer, artist, and photographer Barry Kieselstein-Cord. I inherited them from a great man by the name of Karo, like a father figure to me, he passed away, and these glasses were his glasses. The frames are made out of all metal but the crocodiles on the sides of them are made out of 18-karat gold, Hall said. “Barry Kieselstein-Cord’s wife was the inspiration behind the piece. If you ever get a chance to see his work it is hard to even get because these glasses are in the museum in the French Quarter of New Orleans. If you ever see his piece, they are worth a lot of money but these glasses hold sentimental value to me.”
2. My 3AM Sling Bag.
“It’s personalized with my name inside the bag, he said. “The reason I like to carry my sling bag is that I’m always promoting the brand, and the company, but I also don’t like to have a lot of things in my pockets. I’m able to secure some of the most important things if it’s a wallet or my glasses that I put in my case if I’m not wearing them.”
The 3AM brand's core meaning adds an extra layer of significance to the sling bag. The number 3, represents the pineal gland, which embodies the values of free thinking and creativity. Wearing this bag signifies a willingness to embrace innovative ideas and think outside the box. The letter A symbolizes the various angles from which we view reality, reminding us to maintain a multifaceted perspective. By carrying the 3AM Sling Bag, one embraces the brand's ethos of encouraging a diverse and open-minded outlook on life. Lastly, the letter M, formed by two pyramids, embodies mental growth and manifestation. This serves as a reminder to believe in one's ideas, trust one's vision, and challenge oneself to achieve personal growth and manifest the desired life.
3. Confidence.
“I can’t leave my house without the confidence. I’m 100% sure of myself but it comes from being competitive and wanting to compete” Hall said. “In the world that we live in you have to have that tenacity to want to elevate yourself and those around you. If the people around me that look up to me or are inspired by me or even have mentored me see that I’m carrying confidence every day, I think that’s an extra push to believe in themselves. I’m still the same person every day, but I’m always going to fight to be a better me.”
Hall's talent and dedication earned him a coveted spot at the 76th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. This exclusive event, reserved for A-list professionals, provided Hall with a platform to showcase his exquisite handbags. As he walked the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals, Hall exuded confidence, wearing Bruno Magli Alligator Loafers and expressing gratitude to @tiffanyfashionweekparis for their support in making his appearance possible. This high-profile event solidified his presence in the fashion industry and further established 3AM Luxury Handbags & Leather Accessories as a brand synonymous with luxury.
4. Love.
“Not only love for myself but also for those around me. Within that love is tied to respect. I’m big on respect. I respect myself enough to better respect other individuals even when they’re not respecting themselves. When people see that you’re carrying love and respect for yourself, it transcends for those around you for those who might not know what respect looks like for themselves,” Hall said. “Some of us may not have a true understanding of what love looks like and what love is. And I think a lot of times we get caught up on the idea of love between mates versus love between all counterparts. Just a simple speaking to someone like “Hey, how are you doing?” Just being generous. I tie love and respect as being two of my No. 4’s but I see them as one.”
5. The Ability to Listen.
“If we were able to listen, we would gain a wealth of knowledge, much more quickly and efficiently. Listening allows us to understand our surroundings and envision our desired manifestations,” Hall said. “For me, listening and manifestation go hand in hand. It's not just about listening to others, but also tuning into our own inner voice. Unfortunately, we often ignore that voice due to self-doubt, self-hate, or lack of confidence. We may convince ourselves that certain goals are unattainable, creating mental barriers.” However, when we truly listen to ourselves, we can break free from those limitations and discover new possibilities.
Listening to his inner voice led Hall on a remarkable journey. He recently participated in Season 8 of Tiffany's Fashion Week in Monaco. Held at the prestigious Forbes 5-star award-winning Hotel Hermitage, this event allowed Hall to showcase his handbag collection on the catwalk.
The pinnacle of Hall's recent achievements was being honored with a prestigious Fashion Award at the International Investment Congress Awards during Tiffany's Fashion Week in Monaco. This recognition further solidified Hall's talent and innovation, positioning him as a trailblazer in the fashion industry. The award served as a testament to his dedication, vision, and contribution to the world of luxury handbags. His next show will be Sept 30th for Season 14 of Tiffany’s Fashion Week Paris a must-experience event that every designer dreams of showcasing during Paris Fashion Week.
