Exciting Job Opportunities with Blur Events at CWS 2024!

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding summer job? Blur Events is seeking enthusiastic and strong individuals to join their team for the College World Series (CWS) set-up and event support. This is a fantastic opportunity for college students, teachers on summer break, or anyone looking to earn some extra money in a dynamic environment. Here are the details:

Event Set-up Helpers

Dates: May 30 - June 13 (a couple of days off in the middle for flooring installation)

Hours: 7 am to roughly 4 pm

Pay: $20/hour + lunch

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up events

• Lift and move heavy items like TVs

Requirements:

• Strong, self-starters preferred

• Must be able to lift heavy objects

• Preferably 21 and up, but motivated younger candidates are welcome

Bar Staff Opportunities

1. Back Bar Busser

   • Dates: June 14-19 & June 22

   • Pay: $15-$18/hour + meals

   • Responsibilities: Restock products (beer, coke), ice, break down boxes, take out bar trash

2. Clear Tables/Take Out Trash

   • Dates: June 14-19 & June 22

   • Pay: $15/hour + meals

3. Door Security

   • Dates: June 14-19 & June 22

   • Pay: $12.50/hour + split tips with bartenders (potentially $20-$50/hour, depending on the day)

   • Responsibilities: Check IDs, wristband guests

Additional Information:

• Working hours are from 10:30 AM to midnight with breaks throughout the day.

• There is a possibility of helping during the CWS if it’s the right fit.
