Omaha Bridges invites the community to Shucks Fish House Oyster Bar on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, for their First Tuesday fundraiser event.

Did you know more than 100,000 people live in poverty in the Omaha / Council Bluffs metro area? At Omaha Bridges, they’re dedicated to empowering under-resourced families by helping them identify and overcome barriers to success. Through several workshops, programs, coaching and other resources, Omaha Bridges is on its way to achieving its long-term goal of reducing poverty in the metro area by 50% over the next decade.

By participating in this fundraiser, attendees can contribute to this vital cause while enjoying a meal at Shucks.

"We’re excited to partner with Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar for their ‘First Tuesday’ fundraiser!, said Marcus Bell, CEO of Omaha Bridges. The funds raised will directly support our programs that help families in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area gain financial stability and vital resources to break the cycle of poverty. Every meal shared contributes to more individuals building a brighter future for our community."
