On Friday, Sept. 27, the Empowerment Network will launch the 12th Annual African American Leadership Conference (AALC), a pivotal event aimed at empowering the African American community. This year’s conference, held at the CHI Health Center Omaha and Hilton Omaha Downtown, will feature a special highlight: the Revive Omaha Black Business Expo.

Eric Thomas, Ph. D., a New York Times best-selling author, educator, and motivational guru, will headline this year's event. Known for his dynamic energy and transformative insights, Thomas has inspired audiences worldwide, from NBA and NFL teams to educational institutions. He’s no stranger to Omaha, having previously headlined the Rebuilding the Village Conference.

Thomas expressed his excitement about returning, saying, "This event is a powerful platform where leaders can ignite their passions, build on their strengths, and take intentional steps towards success. Attendees will leave feeling empowered, with actionable strategies to elevate both their personal and professional lives." His presence sets the tone for this year’s theme: intentional, a message that resonates throughout the entire conference.

Through expert-led sessions, networking opportunities, and targeted workshops, participants can learn from industry leaders across various fields.
