As someone who thrives on a fast-paced schedule, I rarely get a moment to pause, breathe, and truly indulge in self-care. But recently, I had the pleasure of stepping away from my busy Lozafina day and treating myself to a rejuvenating experience at The Only Facial, Omaha’s newest self-care sanctuary located at 1020 S. 74th Plaza.

Guests can look forward to vibrant local vendors, thrilling carnival rides, and performances by nationally recognized artists. 

Lozafina was invited by the Nebraska Enterprise Fund and the Urban League of Omaha to present to their book club about what we love and know best - marketing, branding, and public relations!

The Global Women’s Forum returned for a third time to The Garden Theater last Saturday, led by Marco LeRoc. This one-day event empowered women with inspiring stories, expert insights, and guidance on leadership, entrepreneurship, tech, health, and economic growth.

Last night, the Maharaja x Lozafina Cultural Mixer proved to be a resounding success, bringing together a dynamic mix of individuals from nonprofits, media, and dedicated community members. Hosted in collaboration with Maharaja Indian Cuisine, the event was designed to foster connections, celebrate culture, and support a meaningful cause - the Lozafina Scholarship Fund.

Alexa Gonzalez Munoz is Lozafina’s spring intern and a student at the University of Nebraska Omaha pursuing a double degree in Latino/Latin American Studies and Studio Art, focusing on three-dimensional art. Raised in South Omaha by parents from Guatemala and Nicaragua, she values her close-knit family and community support.

Lozafina is celebrating Women’s History Month by sharing the stories of empowerment from women in our community. We’re kicking off our series with Director of Latino Community Outreach at El Camino Latino Center, Gina Ponce.

We believe in the power of education, opportunity, and resilience. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Lozafina Scholarship, a general scholarship fund designed to support students in their pursuit of higher education and professional success.
